SnapZip is a lightweight WordPress utility that adds a Download ZIP action to the Plugins and Themes screens, allowing administrators to quickly download installed plugins and themes as ZIP archives.
Whether you’re creating a manual backup before an update, moving a customized plugin to another site, or simply keeping a local copy, SnapZip provides a fast and convenient way to generate downloadable ZIP files without additional configuration.
The plugin creates ZIP archives in a temporary system directory and automatically removes them after the download is complete, leaving no unnecessary files on your server.
