This plugin gives the user the ability to fetch content from any website and show the data using simple shortcode.Here is a demo

Sample shortcode [get_content_from url=’https://shaplakanon.com/wpsupport/best-web-hosting-reddit/’ with=’.entry-title’]

It will fetch the title from best web hosting reddit

If you want to target id from a url, then you have to use [get_content_from url=’https://shaplakanon.com/wpsupport/best-web-hosting-reddit/’ with=’#entry-title’]

Instalazioa

  1. Download the plugin

  2. upload to plugin directory

  3. activate from dashboard

  4. There is no settings

  5. Just insert this shortcode to your post,page or in widget [get_content_from url=”http://domain.com” with=”id_or_class”]

I use it to parse info from another site to display draw date and current jackpot for a lottery draw, and it works well! I have to invoke the plugin twice with different parameters to get the two pieces of info, but it doesn't appear to slow my site down appreciably. I couldn't find any other free plugin that would do this, and I like the fact that it's very few lines of code, so there's little to go wrong.
