It does work. Select the scheme which correspond to your website and choose the languages for which you want to generate hreflang tags.
Do not forget to save your changes!

I thought this would allow me to pug hreflang codes to pages and posts. But it doesn't. I actually don't know what it does. After installing, it has only one setting environment, the one shown on the screenshot. And no href lang shows anywhere.
What's the purpose of this?
