Instalazioa

Betekizunak

WooCommerce must be installed and activated before running the migration.

Instalazioa

  1. Install the plugin in the Admin => Plugins menu => Add New => Upload => Select the zip file => Install Now
  2. Activate the plugin in the Admin => Plugins menu
  3. Run the importer in Tools > Import > PrestaShop
  4. Configure the plugin settings. You can find the PrestaShop database parameters in the PrestaShop file settings.inc.php (PrestaShop 1.5+) or in the PrestaShop Preferences > Database tab (PrestaShop 1.4 and less)
  5. Test the database connection
  6. Click on the import button

MEG

I get the message: “[fgp2wc] Couldn’t connect to the PrestaShop database. Please check your parameters. And be sure the WordPress server can access the PrestaShop database. SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user ‘xxx’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)”

  • First verify your login and password to your PrestaShop database.
  • If PrestaShop and WordPress are not installed on the same host, you can do this:
  • export the PrestaShop database to a SQL file (with phpMyAdmin for example)
  • import this SQL file on the same database as WordPress
  • run the migration by using WordPress database credentials (host, user, password, database) instead of the PrestaShop ones in the plugin settings.

The import is not complete

  • You can run the migration again and it will continue where it left off.
  • You can add: define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '2G'); in your wp-config.php file to increase the memory allowed by WordPress
  • You can also increase the memory limit in php.ini if you have write access to this file (ie: memory_limit = 2G).

The images aren’t being imported

  • Please check the URL field. It must contain the URL of the PrestaShop home page
  • Check that the maintenance mode is disabled in PrestaShop

Are the product combinations/attributes imported?

  • This is a Premium feature available on: https://www.fredericgilles.net/fg-prestashop-to-woocommerce/

I love this plugin. It saved my life ;o) For a client I had to change an old prestashop 1.6 into a modern wordpress/woocommerce (wp5.8.1). This plugin made my life easy to get orders, clients, all the content, reviews in both languages I had. It's super easy to make it work and is super efficient. I save so much time using it, totally worth the cost! I bought the wpml plugin as I had a multilingual shop. The support is super quick and really helpful. If I could add one more star I will do it. Thanks, kenavo

Extension idéale pour une migration Prestashop vers WordPress. Et le support est tout simplement parfait. Great plugin for a Prestashop to WordPress migration. And the support is just perfect.

The plugin, in it's free version, is already quite good... But I needed something extra, and guess what? The premium version gave that extra that I needed, and the support was, really awesome (and believe me, I had one hell of a crappy situation on hands)... now I have the site running fully stacked... For me, 5 stars are not enough

Edited, since some points were raised due to my error, these ones are removed, my rating raised to 3 stars. Got the premium version - not worth the price, because: - You pay a premium (over a hundred eur with vat) for 3 months of updates - pretty poor integration with WPML and multiple languages (both ways, WC and Prestashop), ie importing categories as main for the language that is not enabled in prestashop nor is enabled on WP site. - lacks plenty of basic settings when importing products (ie where should description go, short or full desc field) - I could not for the sake of my life get images to import, via URL or FTP, plugin did not seem to catch proper directory of the images (would miss out on the last directory before the direct image file) - does not seem to play well with sale prices from prestashop when trying to import prices with taxes (tried several and various combinations of settings) - So you pay over a hundred euros for the plugin and you have to drop another 40+ for wpml addon, which, for the price of the plugin, should really be included in the base price (like most of their addons), and as mentioned above, even that one works poorly. - I don't care for UI as long as things are clear and work, but again, for the price, UI needs so much work and refresh. I expected it would be a breeze to set up the plugin, maybe some minor issues, but honestly, I am debating whether I would spend more just messing with database exports and doing the same with WP All Import with mapping certain things, even if that would be limited but at least it would work. If the free version does the job, that's great, but if you are considering a paid version, well, consider carefully.

Best support I've ever had, had problem with the migration of the media and the guys helped me in no time. Also I am highly recommending the migration tool, it saved me lots of money and nerves.
