Thunaivi Chat is the official WordPress plugin for adding the Thunaivi AI chatbot, website chat bot, or live chat support widget to WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores.

The plugin is built for business owners, online store teams, support teams, agencies, and non-developer WordPress users who want a simple website chatbot or live chat integration. After activation, enter your Thunaivi Website Token and the chat widget loads automatically on your public website.

Setup Guide
For non-developer website owners
You only need your Thunaivi Website Token. Install the plugin, paste the token, save, and open your website. The chat widget loads automatically on the public website.
For WooCommerce stores
Install the plugin the same way. If you do not want the chat widget on checkout, enable Hide chat on the checkout page. The chat can still appear on product pages, category pages, homepage, blog posts, and other public pages.
Commerce and AI agent data
WooCommerce stores can enable local commerce bridge settings from Settings > Thunaivi Chat. The plugin can expose signed endpoints for order status and product stock lookups, sync the WooCommerce product catalog to the connected Thunaivi tenant, and save courier/refund preferences used by Thunaivi AI workflows.
The commerce bridge requires a valid Thunaivi Website Token. Order/product endpoints require WooCommerce to be active. Server-to-server requests are signed and timestamp checked.
Customizing the chat button
Use Bubble Background Color to match your website brand color.
Use Bubble Icon Image URL to replace the default chat icon with your own public PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, or SVG image. The image URL must be reachable from the public internet.
Logged-in user tracking
Logged-In User Tracking is disabled by default. Enable it only if your privacy policy and user consent process allow sharing the logged-in user’s name and email with the Thunaivi support inbox.
Privacy
The plugin sends the configured Website Token to the Thunaivi runtime so the correct chat inbox can load.
When Logged-In User Tracking is disabled, the plugin does not intentionally send the WordPress user’s name or email.
When Logged-In User Tracking is enabled, the plugin sends the logged-in user’s display name and email to the connected Thunaivi support inbox. Site owners are responsible for providing appropriate privacy notice and obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

- In WordPress Admin, go to Plugins > Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin.
- Choose the
sitebridge-chat-for-thunaivi.zipfile. - Click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin.
- Open Settings > Thunaivi Chat.
- Copy your Website Token from the Thunaivi client portal.
- Paste the token into Thunaivi Website Token.
- Optional: choose a chat bubble background color.
- Optional: paste a public image URL for the chat bubble icon.
- Click Connect Chat or Save Settings.
- Click Open Website and Test Chat.
No theme code editing is required.

Do I need a developer to install this chatbot?

No. The plugin is designed for no-code setup. A WordPress admin can install it, paste the Website Token, and save.

Where do I find my Website Token?

Open your Thunaivi client portal and copy the Website Token from the website chat/integrations settings.

Will the chatbot show automatically after install?

The chat widget shows after the plugin is activated and a valid Thunaivi Website Token is saved.

Yes. Open Settings > Thunaivi Chat and choose Bubble Background Color.

Can I change the chat icon?

Yes. Add a public image URL in Bubble Icon Image URL. Supported formats are PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, and SVG.

Does this plugin support WooCommerce?

Yes. The plugin can be used as a WooCommerce chatbot and customer support chat widget. You can optionally hide the widget on the WooCommerce checkout page.

Can Thunaivi answer order or stock questions from WooCommerce?

Yes, when WooCommerce bridge settings are enabled and the site is connected to a Thunaivi tenant. The plugin provides signed endpoints for order status and product stock checks, and it can sync product catalog data for AI-assisted product questions.

Does product catalog sync happen automatically?

The plugin includes a Sync Product Catalog Now button in the settings page. Store admins control when product data is pushed to Thunaivi.

Can customers ask product questions through the chat?

Yes. Visitors can use the chat widget to ask product, order, service, pricing, and support questions based on your Thunaivi setup.

Only when Logged-In User Tracking is explicitly enabled. When enabled, the logged-in user’s display name and email address are sent to the connected Thunaivi support inbox. Keep this disabled unless your privacy policy and consent process permit it.

Does this plugin affect performance?

The Thunaivi SDK loads asynchronously and is designed to minimize page-load impact. Actual performance depends on the website, theme, hosting, and other active plugins.

Why is my chat not visible?

Check that the plugin is active, the Website Token is correct, and your site can load
https://app.thunaivi.io/packs/js/sdk.js. If you use caching or optimization plugins, clear cache after saving settings.
